  If you want a silk press do NOT and I mean do NOT go to Jasmine. She is a friendly girl but her hair skills are mediocre at best. I came here for a silk press, trim, and style. First, she started flat ironing my hair and it was still damp or it was too much protectant on my hair as it was sizzling. Second, the flat iron was dirty and smelled like burnt hair. Third, she started trimming for a length check and proceeded to style my hair. After a flat iron and trim my ends were still nappy looking and when I told her this she said, it's going to look like that because you're natural. The real reason is because this professional didn't cut the dead ends properly and kept insisting that I "play with it so it can fall the way I like" she knew I didn't like my hair because I said it looked nappy and she insisted that it was supposed to look this was. She didn't style my hair at all just fluffed my bang with her fingers so she could rush to another client who had already waited 30 minutes because my time had spilled over into hers. I left the salon and went straight to another one where they had to cut the matted dead ends off of my "style" because they couldn't even run the comb through the ends.
  
  UPDATE: the owner Chandra issued a full refund. Her professionalism truly is amazing. Should there be another visit, I will be sure to book with her as her styles are beautiful.
